Export anatomy
A focused menu hierarchy for the first player decision
The main menu maker creates a named ScreenGui, title, optional player card, and three clearly named action buttons. The preview and export share the same title and button settings.
- ScreenGui with a centered menu frame
- Editable title label
- Play, Settings, and Shop button instances
- Optional player name and currency card
- Scale-based layout with size constraints
- Named buttons ready for your own connections

Check the longest action label
Main menus are often tested with short English labels and then break when a game name or translation is longer. Preview both widths before you paste the export into Studio.
- Try a long Play label and a long Shop label.
- Toggle the player card off and on.
- Check the menu at 390px and desktop width.
- Keep real action wiring separate from the visual shell.
- STEP 1
Name the first action
Edit the title and button labels so the menu tells players what they can do when they join your experience.
- STEP 2
Preview both widths
Check desktop and mobile layouts with your longest button label before exporting the file.
- STEP 3
Copy the Luau
Paste the export into a LocalScript under StarterPlayerScripts and inspect the readable hierarchy in Studio.
- STEP 4
Connect real actions
Wire Play, Settings, and Shop to your own client/server flow and validate player permissions and state.
Responsive review
Move the menu shell into your game
Use the exported ScreenGui as the visible shell, then connect each named button to the actual systems in your experience. The browser cannot know your round flow, settings panel, shop state, or player data source.
What the export does not do
The generated file does not launch a game round, open a settings page, process a shop purchase, authenticate a player, or fetch currency. Those behaviors require your own Roblox systems.
Common questions
Roblox main menu GUI FAQ
Can I edit the Play, Settings, and Shop buttons?+
Yes. Each label is editable, and the same value appears in the preview and in the corresponding PlayButton, SettingsButton, or ShopButton TextButton export.
Does the menu make the buttons work in my game?+
No. It creates the visual menu and named buttons. You connect each action to your own round, settings, shop, and server-validated game logic.
Can I show a player name and currency?+
Yes. Turn on Player display and edit the sample values. The export creates PlayerNameLabel and CurrencyLabel as visual placeholders; it does not load live data.
Is this a Roblox main menu gui or a complete game framework?+
It is a focused Roblox main menu GUI maker for a responsive visual shell and editable Luau. It does not provide a game backend or reusable round framework.
Is Game UI Maker affiliated with Roblox?+
No. Game UI Maker is an independent creator tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.
How it runs
No sign-up
Open the maker and start editing. Copying or downloading the Luau export does not need an account.
Works on a phone
The editor runs in a mobile browser and the preview switches to a phone layout, so you can check scaling before you export.
Free while in beta
The generator stays free during the beta. No card, no trial timer.
